CPK11 is one of calcium-dependent protein kinases, which are the best-characterized calcium sensors in plants. CDPKs regulate many aspects of plant growth and development as well as plant adaptation to biotic andabiotic stresses. CPK11 may play a role in signal transduction pathways that involve calcium as a second messenger. And it is the regulator of the calcium-mediated abscisic acid (ABA) signaling pathway. |
